I have been playing around with SERPAnalytics for the past couple of weeks and the more I use it the more I like it. I have to admit that it provides great SERPTracking tool along with Spy Tool for competitor research. If you are SEO & SEM individual or a small internet marketing company then SA can seriously help you.
SERPAnalytics Spy Tool
With SERPAnalytics Spy Tool you can do some serious spying on competitors because it allows you to research a specific domain name. If you want to find out what keywords your competition is targeting and where they are ranking then SA Spy Tool is the tool for the job.
Anyway, once you get an account you can do two types of research. You can type in a keyword phrase or you can type in a domain name you might want to spy on.

When you type in a domain and hit Go it will bring up a brief summary report that includes Google monthly stats (search traffic, adwords traffic and adwords budget), top adwords & organic keywords, adwords texts. You can also view full info including SE positions, subdomains and reverse IP sites by clicking tabs.
If you search for a keyword phrase you’ll also get a brief summary report that includes stats for your query (avg.CPC, searches and broad searches), related keywords, adwords competitors, organic competitors, also with detailed info at special tabs.
So let’s do a quick search for “hosting.com” domain and “hosting” keyword phrase.
The first thing you get at the Keyword Research section is keyword stats, top 5 related keywords, top 10 paid and top 10 organic competitors (if any).
So for the keyword “hosting” the summary you get looks like this:

Clicking next tabs or links “…view all” you can view other reports which you can expand and drill down even deeper for each keyword phrase you want to target.
Viewing the reports you can click on each keyword or domain and get its reports instantly.
All this data can be very useful when you are building niche affiliate sites. By spying on your competition you basically avoid all the guess work and can easily find the most profitable keyword phrases in your niche. Obviously you still need backlinks to get your sites ranked, but using SA you can save a lot of time and money in the long run.
Now, let’s do a search for a specific domain name to see what reports we get. In this example I am going to search for “hosting.com”. Here are the results:

When you make a search for a specific domain name you get a nice overview of their monthly traffic, SE positions, competition, and keywords they rank for.
I can get a nice list of high traffic keywords that hosting.com is targeting. What’s even cooler is that I can see the exact SE position and get more specific data, e.g. traffic, traffic cost.

Every month or two SA searches tens of millions keywords in Google and creates reverse index. So you can find all the organic positions of your competitors along with adwords advertisements.

All the tabs provide exporting full report (with additional values) to Excel / CSV so you can make a report for your boss or customer by one click.
SERPAnalytics Tracking Tool
Along with Spy Tool SERPAnalytics provides Tracking Service. Tracking Service itself isn’t smth. unique on SEO software market, however keeping in mind that SERPAnalytics includes keywords research and competitor research in its plans SA looks really attractive to SEO novices and professionals.
In SA interface you can merge sites and keywords into groups so it gives you a really benefiting model since SA charges for keywords only. This means if you are running 2 sites dedicated to hosting and you want to monitor 3 keywords “web hosting”, “php hosting”, “free hosting” you need to add these sites into one group and you would only be charged for 3 keywords instead of 6 how other services do. Or you could add competitors into the group to see how the competitors are performing comparing to your sites. That means that a basic plan with 20 sites and 100 keywords in some cases allows you to monitor up to 2000 positions instead of only 100. Which is really awesome compared to other services.

Once you add a domain a new group for this domain is created automatically. Then you might add other domains directly to an existing group.
You can see how your site or group of sites or even all your sites are performing buy watching the graph of cost and clicks which these sites receives in search engines. You can find the graph in collapsible block above your groups:

The keywords for your domains are in the next tab.
SA stores archives of SERPs for popular keywords and you can reach it from this account section: if the keyword is archived you’ll see “FS” link at the left that leads to SERP archive for this keyword phrase.

Tracking Results section is for detailed position reports for your domains.

Conclusions
Cons. There are some disadvantages however.
Till now SA doesn’t provide multiple user access for its accounts and account branding which would be really useful for SEO and SEM agencies.
SA in past had a really great SERP research tool which they run in beta mode. They currently do not provide it. Hopefully SA restores it.
Pros.
The price. Even the basic and advanced SA plans outbid other competitor research tools.
You can monitor the whole SERP with its Full SERP Tracking tool which is really great since no other services provide it and it allows you to monitor and store the archive of all changes in your targeted SERP.
SA Stores archives of SERPs of some popular keywords which allows you to analyze the situation after SEO updates. Which is unique too. (http://www.serpanalytics.com/cabinet/searcher/#google/100/hosting/1/now)
Support is ok. You usually get response from SA for your feedback in 24 hours.
You can see how your site or group of sites is performing buy watching the graph of cost and clicks which these sites receives in search engines.
Ease of use.
As you can see SA has some really powerful features that can give you a huge advantage over your competition in the SERPs. By far I consider SERPAnalytics one of the most suitable services for SEO & SEM individuals and for small Internet Marketing companies. I would definitely recommend you to invest in this service you are not going to lose more.
Overall it’s a great service I am going to continue using in the future for some of my own sites.
